The first bands have been announced for Poland’s Metalfest Open Air: the supergroup Down, which features members and ex-members of bands such as Pantera, Crowbar, Corrosion of Conformity and Superjoint Ritual; the thrash legend Sodom and death metal legends Entombed. Also confirmed are technical death metallers Cryptopsy, as well as three Polish bands: death-thrash Vedonist, stoner/doom Belzebong and post-black metal Thaw.
